Add a Logo to Your QR Code (Safely)
A center logo makes your QR on-brand, but covering too much of the code can stop phones from reading it. Follow these rules for reliable scans.
1) Raise error correction
Set error correction to Q or H. This allows the QR to remain scannable even if 25–30% of the modules are obscured by your logo or artwork.
2) Keep contrast strong
Use a dark foreground on a light background. Avoid placing the code on photos or low-contrast patterns.
3) Size the logo modestly
Start around 15–25% of the QR’s width. Increase slowly and test with multiple phones and lighting.
Try it now in the Free QR Code Generator — upload a center logo and export as SVG/PDF for print or PNG for screens.
